Four Way Traffic Loop Detector

The Four-Way Traffic Loop Detector is sealed with a quick-set black epoxy compound, rather than bitumen mastic, to blend seamlessly with the roadway surface. The number of cylinders required depends on the loop perimeter:

• For a loop perimeter of 3-4 meters, use 6 cylinders.
• For a loop perimeter of 4-6 meters, use 5 cylinders.
• For a loop perimeter of 10-20 meters, use 4 cylinders.
• For a loop perimeter over 20 meters, use 2 cylinders.

Troubleshooting the Four-Way Traffic Loop Detector:

• If the detector is not working: Press the reset button.
• If the red LED indicators are not fully lit: Check the power supply to ensure it is stable.
• If the green LED indicator blinks very slowly: This may indicate a short circuit or insufficient turns in the loop. Lower the frequency if necessary, and add more turns if the frequency remains too high.
• If the green LED indicator blinks very quickly: This may indicate an open circuit or too many turns in the loop. Increase the frequency if necessary, and remove some turns if the frequency remains too low.
