Important Tips for Using the Vehicle Motion Sensor

  1. Power Supply:

    • Use a 9-24VDC 1A (or higher) power adapter for independent power supply.
    • If using the gate for power supply, ensure the output current is at least 200mA.

  2. Installation Height:

    • For lane applications, the optimal height between the radar center and the ground is 50-60 cm.

  3. Placement:

    • Maintain a distance of at least 25 cm between the radar center and an octagonal fence pole, and at least 30 cm for a right-angle fence pole.
    • The radar installation surface should be level with the ground and securely fixed.

  4. Detection Area:

    • Ensure the ground within the detection range is flat and free of obstacles.
    • If the angle between the passing vehicle and the radar exceeds 30 degrees, set up road barriers to guide the vehicle through the detection area.

  5. Settings:

    • The vehicle radar offers 6 menu options for customizable settings.

These guidelines ensure optimal performance and accurate detection of the vehicle motion sensor.
