Output Settings for Dual Channel Traffic Loop Detector

The output behavior of Relay 2 in the Dual Channel Loop Detector is controlled by DIP switch 3 (DIP3):

• DIP3 OFF: When DIP3 is turned off, Relay 2 is activated. If a vehicle enters the coil, pins 3 and 4 are connected and remain activated until the vehicle leaves the coil.
• DIP3 ON: When DIP3 is turned on, the output of Relay 2 mirrors the output of Relay 1, which is determined by the settings of DIP1 and DIP2.

Relay 1 is a multifunction output, and its behavior is defined by the settings of DIP1 and DIP2 on the main board:

• DIP1 OFF, DIP2 OFF: After a vehicle leaves the coil, pins 5 and 6 are activated 300 milliseconds later, stay on for 1 second, and then turn off.
• DIP1 ON, DIP2 OFF: When a vehicle enters the coil, pins 5 and 6 are immediately activated and turn off after 300 milliseconds.
• DIP1 OFF, DIP2 ON: If a vehicle enters the coil, pins 5 and 6 are activated after 300 milliseconds and remain on until the vehicle leaves.
• DIP1 ON, DIP2 ON: When a vehicle enters the coil, pins 5 and 6 are immediately activated and turn off after a 300-millisecond delay once the vehicle leaves.
