After three years of relentless engineering efforts, we proudly introduce the TCD-8, our latest video camera detector. This comprehensive system comes equipped with essential accessories including lenses, LEDs, camera brackets and hoops, and a waterproof outlet. When all these components are combined, the result is a fully functional video camera detector.

Our traffic detection system offers both wired and wireless camera detector options.

With the wired camera detector, for a standard intersection, we provide the following solution: (4 antennas + 1 Output board + 1 controller + 4 video camera detectors).

For the wireless camera detector, we offer two solutions based on power sources:

1. If connected to city power: (5 antennas + 1 Output board + 1 controller + 4 video camera detectors).
2. If powered by solar energy: (4 antennas + 1 Output board + 1 controller + 4 video camera detectors).

The NVR (Network Video Recorder) operates in tandem with the video camera detector, which scans the designated area for the presence of vehicles. Once a vehicle is detected, the information is relayed to the controller, triggering the indication of the green signal. Typically, NVRs are paired with video camera detectors to facilitate this process.

Here's a refined installation guide for the video camera detector:

Step 1: Mounting the Detector

• Use four M6 stainless steel internal hexagonal screws and nuts to secure the mounting bracket and hoop bracket together.
• Fasten the video camera detector to the light pole using the stainless steel hoop.
• Adjust the camera angle using the mounting brackets and secure it with hexagon socket screws.

Step 2: Positioning

• Ensure that the video camera detector's lane area falls within the camera's shooting range.

Step 3: Network Setup

• Run a network cable from the camera to the IO board.

Step 4: Connection

• Power off the IO board and then connect the camera cable to the camera's Ethernet port.

Step 5: Signal Connection

• Connect the output signal from the IO board to the traffic signal controller.
• Connect the PC/NVR to the IO board. (Note: insert the fuse; the camera's Ethernet port will provide POE output)

Step 6: Power On

• Turn on the power supply for the IO board. Initially, the IO board Error LED will illuminate. Once the camera operates normally, the Link LED will turn on, and the Error LED will turn off.

Step 7: Operational Status

• After successful installation, the camera LED will flash when the video camera detector operates normally.

Step 8: Software Setup

• Install our camera setting software and provide us with a machine code to receive the serial code.

Step 9: Configuration

• Open the camera setting software and click "search" to identify connected cameras (01 for camera 1, 02 for camera 2, and so on).

Step 10: Fine-tuning

• Adjust the camera's shooting area for optimal performance and draw the loop in the lane. Ensure the loop direction aligns with the driving direction.
• Ensure each video camera detector in an IO board has a unique ID to prevent output control issues.

Step 11: Saving Configuration

• Once the setup is complete, save the settings to the camera.

Step 12: Monitoring

• When the camera detects a vehicle, you can monitor the output signal via the software taskbar or observe the IO board's signal group LED illumination.
